As of June 26th there were 6527 active listings listed in the MLS for Jefferson County representing a 8.7 month supply of homes. 5.5 months is considered optimum and to be a balanced market. As can be seen from the list below the absorbtion rate is very area dependent with St Matthews and the Highlands being a sellers market and most other areas leaning toward a buyers market.
