Andy,

I lived in Greensboro for a number of years and remember the Kirkwood neighborhood. You post brought back many memories of how beautiful the city is. I miss Biscuitville, Elizabeth's Pizza, and strolling downtown. I wonder if things have changed much.

Linda,

If you haven't visited recently, you would be pleasantly surprised.  The downtown area has really been revitalized.  Elm Street is lined with vibrant restaurants, shops and art galleries and is hopping most evenings from the new Center City Park down to Lee Street!  They just added a Mellow Mushroom restaurant in that area south of the railroad tracks.  Of course, Greensboro still has our classics such as Biscuitville, Elizabeth's Pizza and Stamey's.
