I just hit 2,000 points and I was smiling at my progress when I noticed something funny. It only took 2,000 points to put me in the top 20% of my state. And here I was thinking that I was such a slacker on the AR scoreboard.
Being the competitive person that I am, I've been eyeballing the point scores of the #1 AR players and thinking what an incredibly long time and enormous commitment it will take to reach those scores. But maybe I don't have to, because if AR success follows the 80/20 rule, then I'm already in that elite 20% crowd.
And if AR scores correlate with real estate agent income then that sounds like it would be a good thing. Unfortunately, based on Jay Thompsons Calculations, it looks like being in that top 20% of real estate agents is only barely enough income to get by. I guess I'll be thankful that AR scores are not the only determinant of real estate success.
