Helpful Sureclose Hint for Today (Viewing Documents)

By
Services for Real Estate Pros with Holler Law Firm

Over time, I have had the opportunity to trouble shoot with many people to assist them in viewing documents on SureClose.  Here are a few of the most common solutions:

1) If you are trying to view a document and only get a white screen or a white screen with a little red "x" in the corner, this document is most likely in a tiff format.  SureClose uses Java to view these documents.  If you do not have Java on your computer, you can n it for free at www.java.com.  This should fix your problem and allow you to view all tiff documents.

2) If you are trying to view a mult-page document but are only able to view the first page, check your programs and make sure that you are not running "quick time".  This program will block the rest of the pages.   Viewing programs like quick time can be downloaded and running on your machine without you even knowing it.  Just un-install it, and this should fix your problem and allow you to view all pages.

3)  If you are getting stopped at the login page, you probably have your pop up blocker engaged.  SureClose works as a "pop up" system.  You have to either disengage your pop up blocker or at least tell your computer to allow pop ups on this site.

If you have any other questions regarding viewing documents, any one at Realt-eTransAct can assist you.  We are always available to answer your questions.  I hope this helps!

My only problem with sureclose and it has been my problem is that I forget what my password is to get and so the next time I use Stewart Title I have to contact them to find out how to get in.

Here are a couple of things to try:

1) There is a box under the spaces where you input your user name and password that you can check and it should store your login and password for you.  With some websites, this doesn't always work but the good news is that with SureClose it DOES.

If you delete your cookies and clear your internet history, though, you will lose that stored information.  So,

2) I created a folder for logins and passwords in my Outlook inbox.  I keep all my login information for the websites that I use in that folder.  When Stewart Title emails you your login information, you can just move it to that folder and keep it there for the next time you need it.
