5 Great Little Software Programs For Realtors & Anyone. Please post yours

By
Real Estate Agent with EXIT Right Realty

Here are five programs that I give a big thumbs up.  Please post any software tools that you feel are essential.

  1. Google Desktop Search - Great tool for quickly searching your emails and/or computer files. Results are displayed very quickly. Freeware.
  2. HandyFind - Find words or text as you type in programs that don't allow you to use the Ctrl + F function. This has been extremely useful for me in MS Outlook. Freeware.
  3. Snagit - Screen capture software. Snagit allows you select just the area that you need to capture. Shareware / Trail demo.
  4. Foxit PDF Editor - Great tool for editing PDF files. You can add annotations, text, markups, etc. Shareware or use Demo with small watermark
  5. PrimoPDF - Free software that allows you to quickly convert almost any file to PDF.

LaMont, thanks for the tips.  I use Google extensively and also love Snagit, but I haven't tried the others yet.  I'll have to check them out.

My favorite tool over the last few months is Microsoft OneNote.  It is basically an electronic notebook, and it works like Google Docs in that it saves constantly as you go.  You can set up new chapters/pages/subpages and really organize your thoughts or keep many things organized in one "notebook."  Really a great tool if you need to take notes or are a brainstormer.  My eBook outlines and notes are all in OneNote as well as my operations manual for my company.

Thanks. I'll have to take a look at OneNote and the HTML site. I defintely need a little help on the HTML. I keep have spacing issues, as you can see in my non-white space post. Thanks.

 In search of white space,
