Hurricane Preparedness

I attended a seminar yesterday, for hurricane preparedness in Brazoria County.  Since the fiasco of 2005, the Emergency Management Team has been making changes to help us leave more effectively.  I encourage you to prepare, and have all the emergency items needed on hand.  Also, through November, keep your car 1/2 full of gasoline, just in case. That is hard for me to do, I always let mine fall to empty, until you see the red line.  Our host county will be Bell County, which is Belton, Texas. They will have shelters, places for our disabled, and our pets.  If you have any questions, visit the Brazoria County website to get more info.
