Did Google Just Launch the "dream home builder"?

Looking through Google's list of applications this morning, I came accross a new one: Google SketchUp. Google SketchUp is software that you can use to create 3D models of anything you like.

Imagine the power that this will give buyers, when it comes to describing their dream homes. A lot of the guesswork can be taken out of the equation, if our buyers can now create 3D models of their dream homes and "wish lists".

 

A quick search on Google Sketchup for "Dream House", and here are just a few of the results:

The problem is, does the perfect home exist?  Buyers are becoming more and more tuned into the search for the ultimate deal.  I have my house on the market and it is always compared to the foreclosre in the neighborhood.  Well if they like the price of the foreclosure, but it an invest the money to make it look presentable. 

If buyers are looking to build new, the pocket book is the limit.  he program should include an estimated cost.  We work with a number of area builders to find the perfect lot and the perfect home at the best price.

I forgot about this....this is neat, and it has been around for a while.  I checked it out when it first came out.
