I have never done this blogging deal before, so here is my first. As you may or may not know, I attended XINNIX, the Mortgage Academy of Excellence. I am the first student they have ever had from Iowa, so not many people know about this training. AND, of course, since I was from Iowa, I received numerous Iowa jokes that were confused with Idaho or Ohio. XINNIX was a life changing experience for me. It was 6 weeks in total, 2 weeks here and 4 weeks in Atlanta, GA. I graduated from UNI, and I thought that was difficult, well XINNIX proved me wrong on that. We were in class 12-13 hours a day and 3-4 hours of homework. We also had an exam the day we got to Atlanta, to make sure we could stay, an exam every Monday and a 4 hour certification exam at the end to pass. If we ever forgot homework, failed a quiz (below 80%), or failed an exam (below 80%), we were put on warning and then anything again--and SEE YA. They sent us home. The first month was all about the industry, background, products, understanding how and why different products work for different situations and for the last 2 weeks we did sales and marketing training. I truly learned so much. It was very tough but if I had the chance to go back, I would DEFINITELY do it over again. As I said before, I am the first to graduate from Iowa so all my fellow classmates were from big states such as: Georgia, Florida, New York, Maryland, etc. They all got sign-on bonuses for attending be accepted to and graduating from XINNIX. And then I come back to Iowa and all happy, and people are saying to me, "XINNIX, what?" HAH, I can't blame them at all for not knowing about the training, there will be more people that take this huge step to go to the academy from this area and then people will start to see what it is all about. Well, enough of me on my soap box. Here are some pictures below. If you want to see more about XINNIX, ask me, or check out www.xinnix.com. Thank you for visiting my very FIRST blog :)
