I saw a story today in The Times of Northwest Indiana that I thought was interesting. It says parts of Lake County and Porter county are growing! More people are moving to Northwest Indiana... that is great news for the local real estate market.

The Times said that according to information released by the U.S. Census Bureau, St. John and Crown Point saw growth in 2005 and 2006. The story says 962 people moved to St. John in that time. The town now has a population of 11,710. Crown Point ranked second in growth with 854 new residents. Now nearly 23,500 people live in Crown Point.

What does this mean to homeowners in the area? It's good news! All of those people moving to St. John and Crown Point need a place to live. Let me know if you, or someone you know, needs help with any of your real estate needs. My team would be happy to help!
