Are you a camera expert? Help, my real estate camera, a Kodak EasyShare V705 (which I can't even take a picture of because it is broken), is not working. First, the lens cover would not close, and the only way I could get it to turn off was to take out the battery -- I know this seems extreme, but I didn't want the battery to die. Then, after I was desperate and was pushing all kinds of buttons (some in comination), the lens cover did close. Now at least the lens are protected, but when I try to turn on the camera, all the blue buttons on the top go on (so that means the battery is okay), the green light for the flash goes on, and then the camera shuts itself off after about 12 seconds. And, when the camera goes on, the lens cover should open, and its not opening now. The camera was purchased in July of 08 and it is a discontinued model. When I called my local camera shop (Wolf Camera) they said they can't do it, they would have to ship it off for 6 weeks and it would cost about $130.
I've just recently gotten into blogging and I was inspired by the photos I took to do blogs. I am using a backup camera, but its not as good and I don't have the ability to transfer pics to the internet as easily as before.
Help, do you have any suggestions?
