Custom Longboards, Edmonds Wa

Primarily known for the coffee, less than desirable weather and melancholic 90's grunge movement, Seattle is soon to be identified as the Longboard capitol of the West Coast. In 2007, following his entrepreneurial spirit, attraction to action sports and identifying that there was niche unfilled in the Custom Longboard industry, Mr. Losee decided to pull together his talent and resources and launch Image Ride Losee Longboards.

Based between his parents home in Edmonds and a garage in Utah, Max's mission is to create unique and capable Longboards that are equally appropriate cruising city streets as well as perched on a wall. The process to create a Losee masterpiece requires every image to be laser engraved into the Birch and Maple wood boards. Whats more exciting is that you can submit any photo you'd like to the Losee team for a truly exclusive piece.

I personally own four of Max's Longboards. I customized each with pictures I had taken of cityscapes in some of my favorite Edmonds neighborhoods. When I'm not bombing hills with one of my boards, they're retired on my living room wall as a one-of-a-kind work of art. One of my friends recently commented that these were some of the most beautiful Longboards they had ever seen. The value is really added in the freedom of customization.

Max has made the process to order your custom board super simple! You first choose between two board designs. The Little Cruiser is compact, quicker and easier to turn. The Big Cruiser will be more stable at speed and a better alternative for the taller rider. You then choose between 5 wheel sets, you'll find a color appropriate for your personality. Lastly, you'll upload an image. This is the fun part and any photo will do. The Losee Longboard team will edit, tweak and manage the photo until it works perfectly. When they’re done with the mock-up they’ll email a photo of what the finished product will look like for your stamp of approval. Longboard customization is a rarity in the market and Max has definitely made it one of the most enjoyable experiences!
