David,

They were working on a direct bus service to downtown Toronto. Is that any closer?

The NEW and IMPROVED ! uhhuh streetcar loop at the Humber There has been a proposed LRT built by Bombardier that could go on the Lake Shore (It is my understanding that the neighbours oppose a transit increase) There is a double fare direct bus, along the lakeshore straight to Union Station. Lots of Transit opportunities. David Pylyp Living in Toronto

David,

I thought there was to be a private bus, charged in the condo fees and "free" to the condo owners.

Have you ever heard of that?

There are many that have a private shuttle bus concept in the Humber Bay Shore area. Most Noticed is the Palace Pier Schuttle bus (Blatantly embossed with Palace Pier) that frequents Union Station. This bus is also available thru the day for pilgrimages to Sherway Gardens and the Cloverdale Mall for groceries and necessities. Although a proposed line item on the future services available; You are aware that the NEW condo board once installed may eliminate any perceived "sweetheart" deals that the developer has made, or in the services provided. A similar shuttle bus concept is being considered at Red Hot Condos in Don Mills (recently released from Camrost Felcorp) It is ultimately up to the Board of Directors of each Condominium Complex. David,

Thanks for the update. I know the Palace Pier bus is very popular. And, it's the TTC that is the major opposition to private buses.
