spontaneity can be a good thing!

Over time and over many years, I have lost a lot of my spontaneity in my life. I still like to do a lot of different and fun exciting things, but usually plan them out with the idea- no plan is a plan to fail. Being open and flexible can work too. My husband and I recently were in a lottery for tickets to Regis and Kelly Live! In Las Vegas. My husband has been a Regis fan for many years and has always wanted to see the show. He was so surprised when I said,"Let's go." It is the same week as Thanksgiving, short notice, I am busy in my working and on and but we did it. We had so much fun and he truly loved it. The day before the show we met a staff member who found us in line the next day and gve us priority seating- row 6 center, right next to the camera man who Ted made friends with too. It all worked out. Oh yes, we did test our good luck on the gambling. Our $20 lasted almost an hour but we never won the big jackpot there. Once again it goes to show that so many of the real treasures and memories of life are not due to a lot of money. Thank you and Happy Thanksgiving 2009
