Each year as the leaves change colors and Daylight Savings Time arrives, a familiar excitement begins to grow inside as I’m reminded that the holiday season is rapidly approaching. Thanksgiving in particular is an occassion that affords us the opportunity to spend time with our family and friends, take a break from the everyday stresses of life and work, and sit back, relax, and appreciate life. Equally as significant is the ability each one of us has to reflect upon our lives, and consider all that we are thankful for.
On a personal level, I feel extremely fortunate in so many respects. I am grateful for a wonderful family, my health, a fulfilling career, and much, much more. I entered the real estate industry over twenty years ago in order to pursue a career, but more importantly in order to have the opportunity to make a positive difference in people’s lives, have the chance to interact and meet indivdiuals from all walks of life, and to utilize my passion and talent in this highly rewarding field in a meaningful way.
As November 26th draws near, I’m excited to bring you my “Top 3 Reasons to be Thankful” as related to the Real Estate Market. While we must all be realistic and consider the fact that we have faced challenging times in recent years, it is important to think about all that is going well, and show our thanks for all that is good.
1. As citizens, we are making strides in doing our part to promote green living. Not only are people across the globe beginning to realize our environmental impact, but we are becoming proactive in making changes to protect our planet. Efforts such as developing buildings that meet LEED standards are being seen across our nation, from places such as California, right in our own neighborhoods around Atlanta.
2. With the difficult economic times we have faced comes future opportunities. At the Cheri Riley Group we have seen considerable values arising throughout the Atlanta Fine Homes market. Superb values, such as riverfront properties set against the backdrop of the stunning Chattahoochee River are available to buyers at considerably lower prices from their original listing prices. Now is an excellent time for buyers to consider purchasing a fine home in the Atlanta area.
3. Last but not least, I am encouraged by the incredible work that is taking place in our schools. Families in districts across the region are being afforded countless options for quality education, whether it be enrolling their children in a public, private, or charter school. Remarkable work is being done in today’s schools, which inspires me to think about the skills and knowledge our future leaders will bring to this world.
Take time this Thanksgiving, and more importantly, every day, to consider all that you have to be thankful for, and how you can show those around you how much they mean to you.
We hope that you will choose Atlanta’s number one real estate luxury group, the Cheri Riley Group, for your future real estate needs. We can be reached at cheririley@atlantafinehomes.com or 404.944.9992.
