The San Diego Zoo is always open on Thanksgiving Day, so I guess everyone knows where we're going first thing in the morning. This will be my third annual Thanksgiving Day pilgrimage. If you go first thing in the morning, it's not crowded and you get to watch much of the wildlife eating and stretching. Around noon, it gets pretty crowded since all the kids are out of school and the Zoo makes a nice outing for the family. I want to wish everyone a HAPPY THANKSGIVING and leave you with a picture from a recent trip to the Zoo. Anyone have any idea what kind of critter this is?
