My attitude is, if the pie shrinks, I will take a bigger piece of it.....MY recession is over because I choose it to be over !

Jason-I have to admit that I am with Doug.  I choose to ignore it.  I try not to get wrapped up in the bad news.  I just concentrate on the good.  BTW I love the picture of the little girl to!

Jason, This little girl already has the look of business woman in her eyes!  That is the attitude we need to keep in this economy.

Jump start the economy?  That's the problem.  Let the free markets work.  We need to stop trying to jump start by printing money and handing it out to select groups.

Everyone has the basic idea, let the markets figure it out.  But the problem with that is we are no longer the top clients for business.  Our economy is a service economy with the government taking its cut each time a transaction is made, ultimately reducing the pie for everyone.  We need goverment to get out of subsidising every industry for campaign dollars.  Businesses are looking for growth overseas and outside our borders.  We must reject these multinationals and stay in our communities.

Bob & Carolin - Thanks for stopping by and commenting!

Tami - I think that's a pretty common sentiment.  I know it's counter productive to get wrapped up in the bad news, but I also think that to ignore the realities of the market can put us in danger (at the very least of losing an opportunity...or worse).

Susan - I couldn't agree more.  Thanks for your comment!
