First of all, I hope that you and your loved ones had a very Happy Thanksgiving. Secondly, back to business. I have a question to all you who have been in the business for many years. I recently read conflicting arguments about using a sign to advertise when you have a price reduction on a listing. Do you use a "price reduced" sign when you lower the price of a listing? And, if you do use a "price reduced" sign, what have been the benefits? And, if you don't use a "priced reduced" sign, why not? I really would like to hear the pros and cons.

Jane, I had read some of those pros and docns too. They both are valid ways to look at the situation. I wonder if you try a couple this way and do others withouth the sign to see how buyers respond as a way to determine if it helps sellers or not.

Jane, I don't like using a "price reduced" sign because I think it sends a signal that the house is still overpriced or that there is something wrong with it.
