Hi, Kathleen! I've used paper towel and the hot iron before, but the brown paper bag should be a lot better for absorption. Thanks for the tip!
Hi Kathleen, I've used this tip more than once and it sure does work well. At many events that I'm doing now I'm trying to use more electrified candles to avoid some of the incidents that can occur. It's not the same as a flame but a lot more safe and less nerve racking.
Good tip that definitely works, Kathleen. Paper towels work well too to absorb the wax.
Hmmm, that's a great trick if it really works. I'll try it on my window sill with candle residue.
Kathleen ~ Thanks for sharing this. I spilled wax this weekend with all the company for Thanksgiving and haven't gotten it cleaned up yet.
Kathleen,
A great tip for all of us candle lovers...accidents do happen and it's nice to have a quick solution to this common problem. Thanks for sharing!
This is a great tip. I am going to use this for a re-blog because you know this happens all the time and people never know what to do. Thanks Kathleen!
Very good tip Kathleen - had a listing once that had tons of candle wax on the carpet. I was totally loss at what it would take to remove it from the carpet.. now I know....
