Who is on your company's gift list this year?
You know, those special vendors, businesses, real estate agents and others that interact and support you all year long? As a Stager I have all of those. There are the agents who send me clients every month. Yeah, we love you all! There are also painters, cleaners, handymen, builders, furniture vendors, etc. all continually supporting the success of Triangle Staging and Design.
So, what gift do I get the people on my list? How about a referral!
Sending your business associates a solid lead is giving them the gift that keeps on giving. It not only gives them a chance to make money on the initial deal, but it helps them grow their word-of-mouth advertising. I have been keenly aware of my associates and always look for ways to send them leads. It is a givers gain world and I am happy to oblige the talented people who make my business a success.
Certainly, with the holidays upon us now, we are all thinking about "Thanks-giving" and gifts, but let us maintain this referral spirit throughout the coming months and years. Looking back on 2009, I have been able to give seller listings to some of my agent partners and I've sent many leads to our carpet cleaner, handymen, painters, etc. I pledge to do an even better job in 2010 and hope to help these wonderful business owners stay busy.
So, do you already have your company gifts planned? Great -- it feels good to show your appreciation to those who have supported you. Now, put on your thinking cap and also start looking for referrals to send to those special people. It will bring joy to your heart even after the holidays have passed!
