Photos like these, where just the basic improvements are done, educate sellers on how staging can modify their own spaces. They especially love to hear that these particular changes brought 3 competing offers and a contract in 3 weeks!
Formal Living and Dining Room of a $350,00 Chapel Hill house
We understand from the before photos that the sellers have small kids and use the Formal Living Room and Dining Room as play areas. As savvy marketers and Stagers, however, we have to show the true purpose of these rooms and play up the best features, like the beautiful hardwood floors.
Oh, did I mention that these two rooms are the first impression spaces in this house? How do you think buyers would feel in those precious Seven Seconds if the before rooms were what they saw?
Initially, the sellers were not motivated to make any changes, but the real estate agent was and we provided the persuasion that finally got them on board.
