It is December 1st - One Month Left to 2010!

It is hard to believe that we are already in December.  Time seems to fly by.  Snow was steadily falling this morning in Red Lodge as a reminder (at least in this part of the country) that we have entered the last month of the year.  As I was sipping my morning coffee, I noticed the following 3 visitors perched on a blue spruce right outside the window.   They seemed to enjoy the quiet surroundings and were not on any time constraint (lucky for them).  It did not take me long to realize that this was the first photo opportunity of the month.  :)

Happy month of December!

Tony & Darcy,

Thank you.  Also a reminder to make sure to enjoy every day and what is left of the year.  Carpe diem.

And Gerry just what a photo opportunity it was! We see you follow your own words (Carpe diem) and got them for us.  Now any moose tracks in that snow?

Gerry, had to come back.  Do you realize that would make an excellent Christmas Card?

Hi Gerry ~ It's even getting cold here on the East Coast.  The cat wakes me up at night when he snuggles around my head - aka "the furnace" as we call any heat source - in the middle of the night.

A beautiful picture as always.

Happy December Gerry, and I think that same storm is headed our way.  Very nice photos of the birds, it sure does seem like they would get cold but they seem prefectly happy to be there.

Gerry - I'm glad I live north of you since we don't have any snow yet. :)

Very nice, Gerry! Don't they get cold? LOL It's 10 degrees here today, with a light snow falling. Brrrr!

Al and Peggy (again),

I did think of it as being a good Christmas card (you tow are too kind to think "excellent").   However, I do have a couple of photos already picked up for this year's Christmas card.

Liz,

It is December after all!   I am glad the feline furnace is keeping you warm at night.   I got three dog heat sources at home for those cold December nights.  :)

Mary,

Happy December to you too.  I agree that those birds were happy and not disturbed whatsoever by the cold.

Marc,

Yes you do live north but aren't you suppose to have a bit more snow?  :)

Debi,

Thank you.  Better bundle up and/or stay warm inside!   For some reason, we did not come on this Earth with fur or feather to withstand these types of low temperatures.
