The community of Big River, located on the California side of the Colorado River, offers a mix of desert living & river recreation, where people congregate to relax, have fun, and reside either year round or part time.

Residents and visitors alike can choose from a variety of environments to meet there needs.   Custom built homes nestled on 1  to 2 acre parcels line the river, offering exclusive river access, and beautiful sunrise views.  Stretching inland and over 4500  acres residents may choose from single family homes and manufactured homes on a near 1/2 acre lot with desert, bluff and valley views.

There are two RV parks, a manufactured home park, a market, local pub, post office, and a eight acre community park. Where residents may launch boats, picnic, play volleyball, and dine at the dock restaurant.  A senior center is open 6 days a week, and offers many activities and other services. Besides many water related activities, others  enjoy the open desert trails, for riding motor bikes and ATV's.

Located approximately three hours driving time from Las Vegas Nevada, Phoenix Arizona and Palm Springs California, the community of Big River offers secluded resort style living ....and so much more!!!!

Yes so quiet and secluded, that even unexpected visits from friends can be a good thing. :)

Sounds like a great place, So why in the world Kathy would you want to ever consider leaving it?  Aimee, put some pictures of this place up so we can see it as something more than a desert. I think it will help bring you some business too.
