Will You Trade Your Wooliness In For A Bikini Or A Speedo?

By

ExtinctionThe Wooly Mammoth is one of the most recognized animals from a long time ago. But the question is

Will You Trade Your Wooliness In For A Bikini Or A Speedo?

You see the Wooly Mammoth is no longer with us. True. Ask to see one at your local zoo. They went extinct, somewhere around 12,000 years ago. Located in Siberia, parts of Europe and also North America. The fossil record tells us this. Glacial retreat with climate change caused the habitat to decrease in size and their food went away. Not good if you are a big guy or gal. Should have headed south where more food could be found.

Trading in wooliness for a bikini or speedo bathing suit. Much better idea.

The point with all change is we have to adapt or die. In real estate markets over the last few years and of course moving forward there are shifts that have worked in certain markets and others that did not. It does sometimes seem like reading the tea leaves to pick the right strategy. But be confident that there are "right" strategies. Inquire from others who are doing well and see if that would work for you. Strategies in one part of the country may not work in your region, or again they might.

Don't go extinct. If you have read this far, you are one of the good caring ones. I know this. One of my strategies is to attract you here. You can do it. No fossilized bones of you!! They'll have to read your time capsule instead of all your great accomplishments !!!

Gary, well, the Wooly Mammoth was one impressive animal. So, here is the thing. I will re-invent myself as needed, go with the flow, etc., but I am not wearing a bikini... you got your speedo on? I'm just askin....

Gary,  I think if it wasn't for active rain, I would have been Mrs Wooly Mammoth . Sometimes,.  I'm not sure that would have been a bad thing.

It feels like the Ice age has set in, but I would consider a speedo rather than extinction.  Have to pass on the bikini though.

Right now though I like my woolies it get a little chilly for much of anything.  Snow hasn't arrived, but we are seeing frost each morning.

Hi Gary, While I have been reading and brushing up on my Short Sale training, I recall saying, "I am just not going to do short sales". Well, allow me me to admit that I  am adapting.

Gary:  I love your analogy here to the wooly mammoth.  The clue that you are dealing with a wooly mammoth in real estate is when they are convinced there is nothing left for them to learn.

Oh we are adapting, I think those that understood this concept started the process some time ago, and those that didn't got a new job...

Clever.....I'm interested in this, my college (and my son's college) found a Mammoth fossil on the property a few years ago. Very cool watching them excavate it. (Principia Collge, Elsah, Illinois)

Gary...Appreciate your tone of motivation...With the temperatures in the single digits, I'd like the fur from the woolly mammoth to keep me warm...
