It is true that God made each of us unique and special. God has a plan for our lives. We were created for a reason. But I believe that sometimes we forget that the same holds true for those around us. Just as God has a plan for our lives, so He does for our friends, our families, our neighbors and everyone else in our lives. We should be confident in the gifts and the abilities and all that God has created us to be. But we need to be careful not to let confidence turn into pride. Not everyone looks the same, were not supposed to! Not everyone talks and acts the same, were not supposed to! And not everyone has been given the same abilities. That is how God designed it to be. We are so quick to judge others because they are different than us. Just because we don't say anything directly to the person we are judging doesn't mean that we are not guilty of passing judgments on them. We must choose to remind ourselves what God's Word says about passing judgment. The Word states that we will be measured back with the same judgment that we judge to others, and that also includes our thoughts. God knows already what we are thinking about someone before it ever comes out of our mouths. Ultimately what we think will eventually be spoken aloud directly to that person or someone else they may know. God is the judge of all. We must not forget that we were created from the dust of this earth. God brought us into existence and He takes us out as well. That being said, Who are we to judge His creation? Each of us is unique. We must choose to be confident in who we are, but we must also be confident in who others are as well. We must choose to believe that when someone is living their lives in sin, that God already knows about it. We don't need to remind Him! Everyone will be judged, and God is that judge. We are each an important piece to God's intricately designed puzzle called Life. Some pieces are more difficult to work with, but they are still a part of the puzzle. We need to make a concise choice daily not to judge others with our words and our thoughts. We will be glad that we choose to let God be the judge and not ourselves. It is God that fits each piece together perfectly. We are only a piece of the bigger picture!
