The photo below was contributed by the owners of the cabin in this photo ~ Sheepback Cabin ~ (Click link to the left to see more photos of the cabin, furnishings and surroundings). Sheepback Cabin is located in Maggie Valley on Sheepback Mountain (Go figure!).

If you feel like ‘coming up’ and spending some time in the Western North Carolina mountains, this cabin is close to everything, but also isolated and private: Sheepback Cabin’s Website

If you have ‘local’ photos to share – please add them to your choice of these new Flickr Photo Groups: Maggie Valley Group, the Waynesville NC Group, or the Western North Carolina Group, and I will pick a photo each week from each group to post on my blog, with photo credit and links. (If you are a horse person, I have a new Horse Group for my Horsealicious website: Horsealicious Photo Group.)

Susie ~ Beautiful pictures (I always say that) of the Sheepback Cabins. I would love to visit your neck of the woods one day, there is so much to do and see!

Have a wonderful day!

Hi Susie:

Just beautiful....looks like a wonderful place to get away!!!

I can't believe that you had more snow in NC than we had in Southern NJ.
