BE 100% PRESENT FOR YOUR CUSTOMER

By
Real Estate Sales Representative with RE/MAX Services

I just completed a wonderful personal enrichment class that made me realize the lack of attention I have given myself and others, even if I thought I was already being a superior realtor.

This class taught me how to break through barriers in my life that hold me back from being 100% present to everyone in my life.  It taught me that I can make a difference in other's lives by actually telling them how I feel about issues I may have with them to make our relationship better.

I found that if we don't tell our peers, customers, family how we feel about issues holding us back, then we are actually not showing that we care for them.  We don't care enough about them to improve our relationship.

Since the class, I have had so much more business, have put myself out there for everything I can, and now am able to give back 10 fold to those who care about me.  What a breakthrough.

Now...how to apply this to banks in shortsales....hmmm.

Have a spectacular day!

Being present is one of the hardest things we have to face today in this technology bombarded world. If the phone is not ringing, the texts coming in, email, web, TV, Iphone,....AARRGGHHH! How can anyone be truly present?

You must. All of our relationships~business as well as personal~DESERVE our presence. Our clients and family know when they are not the focus because we may stop to answer the phone, respond to a text, answer an email......

Stay present. In every interaction. It makes a difference! Great post. Thank you for putting it out there!

Sounds like career building and marriage counseling rolled into one.  As for banks and short sales, the process you describe requires someone to "hear" what you are saying - and that is in short supply with short sales right now.

Thanks for the reminder that honest conversation is a great medicine for the ills of life.

Thanks, all for your posts.  I like feedback, as we all do.

The course is called Summit.  I don't think it has its own website.  Look up RayBlanchard.com to find out more of where this concept is coming from.

The course was awesome and does have follow up courses that move to even higher levels.
