This is definately an area for those who love the beach, fishing, boating and other outdoor recreation that comes with the coastal lifestyle. The Villas at Magens Bay condominiums are located in the Swansboro Cedar Point North Carolina area. The mailing address and post office for the Villas at Magens Bay are located in Swansboro yet the villas themselves are in the city limits of Cedar Point. In fact just across the street from the entrance to the Villas at Magens Bay is the town hall for Cear Point NC.

We are a country that loves our coast and the water. Many buyers start at the coast and drive inland until they find housing in their price range. Here at the Crystal Coast that won't take you very long.

The Villas at Magens Bay are situated on less than 3 miles from the beaches of Emerald Ilse North Carolina. In less than 10 minutes you can have your feet in the sand.

Currently (December 2009) there are three 12 plex buildings that make up the Villas at Magens Bay. Construction started in 2005 with the first two 12 plexes being completed in 2006 and the third in 2007. A fourth 12 plex has been put on hold until the economy and the real estate market improve.

How big are the units and what can I expect to find inside? There is one basic floor plan of 1215 square feet with 2 bedrooms and 2 full baths. The kitchen, dining and living room areas flow into one another with a spacious feeling. The 9ft ceilings add to the feeling of openness.

How many floors? The interior of each condo is one level and each building is three floors with 4 villas per floor making 12 units (or 12 plex). Each of the three 12 plexes has an elevator.

Who is the target audience to purchase one of the Villas at Magens Bay? - Great question. The ownership demographics for these coastal condos is quite diverse. There are several full time residents that call the Villas their primary home. I would say however the majority would be classified as second home owners. Many of them using the property for get away, play time and relaxation while some periodically lease their second home (long term only no weekly or nightly rentals are permitted).

What age group do the condo appeal to? - Again there is great diversity. The majority would likely fall into the category of young professionals living in the Villas at Magens Bay, in addition you will find small families with children and even some retirees.
