As South of the Border Properties finally reaches a milestone and finishes their very cutting edge travel related website, it is time for a little break. The crew at South of the Border Properties decided to take a trip "South of the Border" in fact about 3000 miles South of the Border. The crew decided to take a couple of weeks off and relax in one of the most beautiful countries in the world (of course that is if you like tropical) Costa Rica. The crew flew into Liberia Airport in Costa Rica and that's where the fun began. The airport has the look and feel of an airport that was straight out of the early 1900's. As you walk down the portable stairs that have been rolled up to the plane, you walk into a very large open building that reminds you of a big warehouse. It's fairly humid and all the cooling in the airport is being provided by large overhead fans. After passing through Costa Rican customs and presenting our passports its off to grab a cab and head to the beach house that we had rented from a vacation rental client that had been waiting for months for us to finish our website so he could post his property on our site. After hanging out with the South of the Border Properties crew for a couple of weeks in Costa Rica it was very evident that they truly have a sincere passion for their company and absolutely love the countries and properties they represent on their website. No doubt anyone who partners with them will be treated like gold.
After a great nights sleep without the need of air conditioning and enjoying sleeping with all the windows in the house wide open. As you lay there in the morning and enjoy the serene sounds of the ocean, tropical birds and monkeys howling in the trees right outside your bedroom window, it feels as if the natural alarm clock in Costa Rica was sounding off. We all got up and had a great cup of Costa Rican coffee and took a very short approximately two minute walk down to the beach. The walk down to the beach although being very short was just amazing. The tropical plants and brightly colored flowers all in just such abundance was absolutely beautiful. As we exited the little jungle path that we were on to the beach we found a virtually deserted beach that went on as far as the eye could see. I remember seeing a couple of surfer's way off in the distance on the beach. We walked down to the water and found the water temperature to be nice, warm and very inviting so the whole crew went for a swim. I believe it was about 7:00 a.m. Over the next two weeks we traveled all around the Nicoya Peninsula and spent a lot of time in the little town of Tamarindo which is very quaint and located right on the beach. Lots of little curio shops along with numerous surf shops, sport fishing shops, scuba diving shops and of course a lot of very unique and cool outside tiki type bars and eateries located right on the beach. The South of the Border Properties crew introduced themselves to many of the business owners and Realtors that had set up shop in Tamarindo.
All in all the first break from the everyday consistent development and re-designing of their newest additions to their website for an opportunity to visit Costa Rica was worth every hour worked and now its time to move forward and list all those great vacation rentals, properties for sale, travel related businesses and to help anyone they can to receive the maximum exposure for their listings on South of the Border Properties awesome website. To all of our friends and all of the folks who stuck with us during these last three years as we developed and re- designed our site to include all of your suggestions we want to thank you and to let you know that if it were not for you, our dreams and visions to provide the most unique, interesting and feature filled site would have not ended up with all the little extras that we included as we received your suggestions. We do believe that a site such as ours will always be a work in progress and always will appreciate your suggestions. As we asked you three years ago and you came through for us so completely, we are going to ask again. Please always remember South of the Border Properties when thinking of inexpensive, benefit and feature filled sites for anything travel related. As customer service slips away around the world South of the Border Properties have built their representation around being the best. "We will not be over serviced or undersold"
