Red Lodge Christmas Stroll - A Couple of Photos of December 4, 2009

By
Education & Training

Red Lodge is in the midst of the Christmas Stroll.  Last night was the first night of two of the Christmas Stroll.  It was a very busy nights as visitors and locals were out strolling on main street between 6pm and 9pm.

I was mainly at the office helping, meeting and greeting people.  We had plenty of food, appetizers and drinks to welcome everyone that dropped by.   Champagne was a very popular drink for those coming in.   We had tons of food like cooked ham, shrimp, spicy meatballs, sausages and hot soup.

Here are a couple pictures I took late around 8:45pm when the traffic slow down at the office.  I hope to take a few more pictures tonight.  I got to go get ready for tonight's Christmas Stroll!

Hi Gerry - As soon as I saw the sleigh ride, I immediately thought of Toronto's Black Creek Pioneer Village.

Taylor,

We had two nights of festivities.  That dog (for me) was the hightlight of the first night.  It was catching everyone's attention.

Myrl,

I think the whole town of Red Lodge is like a Norman Rockwell scene during the holidays.   I will have some more photos to prove it.  :)

The dog was very friendly and he turned a lot of heads.

Al and Peggy,

I am glad you enjoyed the first taste of the Red Lodge Christmas Stroll.   All the shops are open during the stroll and they all have lots of tasty goodies!  It is the store owners way to say thank you to the locals and customers for their business.  Oh, and with regards to the camera, no need to worry, it seems to follow me where ever I go like a very obedient dog.  :)

Thom,

You are welcome any time!  There is something special about spending the holiday times in a small town.   The whole seems to come together like one big family.  Everywhere you go, every shop you walk into, people treat you like a dear friend and are happy to see you.

Good luck with the new office.  I hope the move and the settling went smoothly.   I look forward to seeing your video with pictures in an upcoming post.

Paula,

It was a very fun time and everyone who visited our office left happy!  Most people remember us from the previous year's food/drink experience and they made sure to stop by again at this year's stroll.   It is good to see the familiar faces.  :)

Mary,

A very fun time indeed!   We made sure everyone left with a big smile!  I don't think anybody needed to be rescued by the dog that evening.  You can tell he had it easy and also enjoyed the stroll.  :)

There's that big dog again. Look at the paws on that thing. Are you sure it's a dog?

Happy Holidays!

Jim,

Don't be afraid!  It is a dog.   If you see him more than once, that means he likes you!   :)

Happy Holidays!
