Who says there's no snow in SW Florida?

Cape Coral's 'Holiday Festival of Lights' is an annual event where thousands of people stroll along Cape Coral Parkway watching performances, eating, visiting with Santa, playing in the snow, etc...

It was a bit cold last night....60°....which set the Holiday mood.

Cape Coral is a wonderful place to live, play, and raise a family.....

It looked like a fun event to attend. It is great when families are having fun.

Hi Debbie!  WOW!  60 degrees and snow!  LOL  Looks like alot of fun--great shots too!  I love the guy standing atop the pile of snow in his short sleeves--kind of gives away the secret!  :-)

Hope you have a wonderful day!

Awesome!  That looks like great fun!  Timely as we had our first real snow last night up north.  - Marian

Hi Debbie!  Do they bring in snow for this event?  That's absolutely great!  I guess there are some of those South Florida kids who may have never seen snow if it wasn't for this! Thanks for sharing.

Great photos, Deb...you really captured some fun shots of Christmas during Cape Coral's Holiday Festival of Lights! I love the snow pics...and the Mr. & Mrs. Claus one, too! :)

60?? Thats not cold. Of course, I cant act like I know what cold really is either. It has been down to 9 degrees here once, but its not typical. I think our average cold day is in the 20s. It only lasts for a little while though. Right now, 60 would be hot. Looks like a great time in the snow though.
