Our real estate team of BB&G- Brown, Brugnoli & Garey of Norris and Co. currently are involved with numerous foreclosures. We represent both buyers & banks. Whether you are thinking of buying a riverfront foreclosure or a foreclosure on the mainland of Vero Beach, here are a few things to know.
1. Do your due diligence! - Have an inspection. Call the Indian River County building dept. to find out if there are any open permits. Call the Vero Beach code enforcement to find out if there are any code violations.
2. Get a survey- the bank knows nothing & you will not receive any information from them or the listing agent.
3. Never plan on moving into your foreclosure on the closing date. There are numerous reasons even in a cash deal why it can not close.
4. Work with a qualified agent who can help you through a sometimes complicated process.
