A big thanks to Cheryl Ritchie who has organized an Active Rain Ambassador Party this week for me in Southern Maryland where they are going to have yummy crab cakes at Stoney's Seafood House. Both Cheryl and Active Rainer Martha Brown have been so kind as to blog about the trip.

- Social Media such as Facebook and Twitter
- Geoweb Tools such as Foursquare and Brightkite
- Picture Tools such as Flickr and Panaramio
- Video with YouTube and a flipcam, phone or camera
If you are new to social media, blogging and Active Rain, I hope to get you excited to dive into some new tools. If you are a seasoned participant in the social web, I hope to give you some tips on new and exciting applications and ways to maximize your effectiveness. Either way, I hope that everyone has something to take home with them (and not just a crab cake!)
