So what is your choice for the best location on an ocean to live. Taking into consideration a fixed retirement, love of warm weather, good local adult education, and laid back life style? I have another 4-10 years in real estate in CA and would like to retire if possible. So what is your choice?

I love the Gulf of Mexico.......I think Destin, FL or nearby would be my choice. It's very pretty there, but I would hate to have to put up with the hurricane risk.
