If you have not heard about DropBox, you're missing out on a great tool. DropBox allows you to exchange files between multiple computers, whether from home, office, other agents and yes even customers and clients! Go to there web site and watch the video to find out more. www.DropBox.com. It's a great tool, and has saved me lot's of time and headaches from having to copy files to a flash drive, or send large files via e-mail. I use the "shared" folder option from the web site to exchange photos and files of properties with customers on regularly. Best of all, the lite version is "FREE!"
Thank you...this may be a new method we choose with one of us working upstairs and one down...easier on the knees...the e-mail, etc.
John:
I am going to check it out. I like that I can email large files, many times, I find that it can be a challenge.
Thanks for sharing this information with us this morning. I will check up on this one
Always looking for ways to make my business easier and more productive. I will check this out.
John, I just signed up! I like to travel and being able to access my files from China is waaayyy cool! :-)
John - I sure could have used this just last week. I had to send photos of a couple of different condo buildings; interior, exterior, and surrounding area, to an out of state client the other day. I could also use this at home between computers. I will check it out.
Hi John,
Dropbox is very cool. And Dropbox is an excellent storage service.
For example, you can use Dropbox as a backup destination to backup all your data from other cloud services. For example, if you use Evernote and Google Docs, it might good to backup all notes and Google Docs documents to Dropbox.
So please check out cloudHQ (http://cloudHQ.net) - cloudHQ can backup and sync all your files from Google Docs, Evernote, SugarSync, Box, etc. to Dropbox - even Basecamp projects.
