Quote by Dr. David Butler-Jones, Chief Public Health Officer of Canada.

The "real" cost of sickness, to ones health, and to employers and taxpayers is astronomical.

  • Getting vaccinated is a safe and effective way to protect yourself and those you come in contact with against the H1N1 flu virus
  • Canada has enough vaccine for everyone

Chris,

They seem to be closing down the clinics now. I suppose everyone who wanted a shot should have had it by now.

Brian, as you well know... in general, Canadians tend to be very complacent... Because the first wave of Swine flu was not that alarming (according to the press coverage it received) people are not getting their shot.  I live in Alliston, a relatively small community and we had suffered 2 deaths, one a healthy young man.  People need to get immunized, and I am trying to spread the message...

Hi Charlotte. I stumbled upon your blog when I goolged DIY zebra rug. First of all, WOW! I can't wait to paint my rug like yours. Secondly, I grew up in BR and now live 1.5 hours away in SW Mississippi in an old old farmhouse that I am constantly decorating and DIYing! I still go to BR once or twice a week for pleasure and work. I too know how hard it is to eat healthily while on the road, having lost 50 pounds myself about two years ago. Anyway, I LOVE your house and your blog.
