Wonderful Event held in Downtown Franklin,NC ~ Franklin,NC Merchants put on a show!

I hope you did not miss this Event held every year in downtown Franklin,NC.  Just in case you did or wimped out because of the chill in the air I was there and enjoyed with out you.  Don't get too bummed there is good news, I am willing to share it with you.

Franklin,NC Merchants all participate by staying open late.          

                     Downtown Clock Tower in Franklin,NC

Its a Victorian Holiday Celebration along town-hill in Franklin,NC. Featuring "live" window displays of the season, carolers and other sounds of the season, carriage rides, refreshments and more! The first two Fridays after Thanksgiving every year. www.renewingfranklin.org

At the Gazebo in Franklin,NC is where the holiday music was flowing in the air add to this festive holiday season and it put a spring in your step while the kids were waiting on Santa to arrive. People started gathering late afternoon on the square in Franklin,NC.

Peoples Dept. Store, Downtown Franklin,NC

Mother and daughter spending quality time together spinning yarn and knitting. Then I crossed the street to see  Victorian dressed locals out for the evenings festivities.  Luminers lined the street of downtown Franklin,NC and the Christmas lights were glittering.

Mrs. Clause saved the dog from the Grinch to be sure he didn't steal Christmas from Franklin,NC this year!

In came the guards they sent the Toy Solders to watch the town and its people gather for Holiday cheer. Carolers entertained us singing with their hearts with songs of Christmas time.

There was cross stitching and basket weaving and people singing.

At Primrose Lane June and her lovely daughter were serving tea and much glee as you can see.

Is that Dasher, Dancer, Prancer, Vizon, Comet, Cupid, Dunder or could it be Bilxem??

OH WAIT THAT WAS SANTA CLAUSE HE WAS HERE THE WHOLE TIME.  HE SLIPPED INTO FRANKLIN AND LEFT PRESENTS BUT HAD TO FLY AND TOLD ME TO TELL YOU GOODBYE.
