By
Real Estate Agent with Global Realty Marketing

During the week of the most recent USPS stamp increase, I farmed an area for listings and what I did to get the homeowners' attention was to include a few one cent stamps in the envelopes.  My message was, "Enclosed are a couple of one cent stamps in the event you are not able to make it to the post office."  Well I just go a call today for a major listing and the homeowners mentioned that although they thought the stamps were nice, it also made them feel that I was "solution oriented".

By "nice listing" are you talking about a Luxury end or close to a luxury end home?

It's funny , our broker told us to do this, I just have not "farmed" an area yet.  So it's good to know it works. :)

Thanks for the idea.  I am sure I will get some response out of it.  Best of all, I like the fact you got a listing out of it.  Well done!

I've done this on the last 2 price increases in stamps and usually get one to two referrals each time. Very inexpensive and very well recieved.
