Evergreen Federal Bank & Brady Adams - Grants Pass, Oregon
Grants Pass Santa is at it again!
Brady Adams and Evergreen Federal Bank is inviting the public to come into the bank and pin a "promise to do" something on the Christmas tree. Hand-write it on a piece of paper and attach it to the tree with a clothes pin (furnished). The promise may be complicated or simple, but it should be a promise to do something that will positively affect someone else.
The most simple is a promise someone made to "smile at everyone" they meet. Santa Adams said, "the purpose of the tree is to reflect that our community clearly cares about people."
Your promise doesn't need to be signed, and you don't even have to identify yourself. Just promise to do something that will help others and keep the promise.
Evergreen Federal Bank will donate $1 for every promise that is placed on the tree to the Josephine County Christmas Basket program.
Mr. Adams said he will donate up to $5,000, so please make sure to drop by and pin a promise on the tree. Who knows, Brady Adams might really be starting something that will spread community wide! Remember seeing the TV commercial where one person does a good deed for someone and they turn around and do the same for another and that recipient does something nice for the next person? I don't even remember what the commercial was for, but I do remember last time someone let me pull out in traffic and shortly after that I motioned someone to go ahead and cut in front of me and it probably went on and on. I think this promise tree is a wonderful idea and deserves the support of all of us. Maybe it will catch on and we're just going to be the nicest city in the world!
Evergreen Federal Bank sits right between 6th and 7th on the north side of the Rogue River on the same lot as The Tap Rock restaurant.
Thanks Santa Adams.
