With of up to $8,000 for qualified first-time home buyers purchasing a principal residence, and up to
$6500 for move-up or repeat home buyers, 2010 should be a great year to purchase a home in
Birmingham.
The sales agreement must be signed prior to April 30, 2010 and the home purchased no later than
June 20, 2010. Move-up or repeat buyers must have resided in the same home for five consecutive
years of the last eight year period. And first-time buyers must not have owned a home in the previous
three years.
