Today I'll share some of my favorite Mark Twain quotes. I think they apply to all of us in one way or another. And as with many famous quotes, we can learn a lot about ourselves and why things are the way the are around us. Then again, some of these quotes have double meaning for many.
A banker is a fellow who lends you his umbrella when the sun is shining, but wants it back the minute it begins to rain. - Mark Twain
A man cannot be comfortable without his own approval. - Mark Twain
Always do right. This will gratify some people and astonish the rest. - Mark Twain
By trying we can easily learn to endure adversity -- another man's I mean. - Mark Twain

Don't go around saying the world owes you a living. The world owes you nothing. It was here first. - Mark Twain

Good quotes - I like the one about the umbrella - so true. Allow me to add one of my favorites - "When everyone is looking for gold, it's a good time to be in the pick and shovel business". ~Mark Twain

Facts are stubborn things, but statistics are more pliable. - Mark Twain - I love this one. It is so true that we are just lying to ourselves when we believe the statistics instead of the facts.
