Customer Service

By
Real Estate Agent with Coldwell Banker Kinard Realty

What ever happened to Customer Service? What ever happened to the Customer's Always Right? These are two statements that have died in our day to day life. We have all the modern conveniences. Things at our finger tips such as checking our selves out without anyone assistance at the grocery store but, when the opportunity presents itself to actually have human contact

we realize why we go to those self check outs.

We go there because the human clerk is rude and has never been taught those two Golden Rules. They have been instead taught - That's not my job and That's not my problem.

I love having the modern conveniences but, I also love Human Contact. The idol chat about How Your Doing and The Weather.

I like the moving forward but, I wish in a lot of ways we could go back to manners and courtesy.

Paula I still miss the man at the gas station who would tip his hat and ask, "Fill it up!"  But after being back home in the south for the past 4 months, I can honestly say that people here are more courteous than other places I've lived.  It's good to be home!

Paula, I'm with you.  I went through the regular check out today and so regretted it as the person checking was so unfriendly.

That is old school now, folks no longer take the time to be nice, let alone courteous.
