By Carl Kabat, Realtor
Washington Square West, also known as "Wash West" is a historic area and one of the most beautiful neighborhoods in Philadelphia.

Many of the charming, tree-lined, narrow little streets of Philly are within Wash West.
If you're thinking about living in this part of Center City, try taking a walk down Spruce Street. When you come to 927 Spruce Street, you'll find a property built by John Shippen, a prominent Philadelphian in the 1700's, and a founder of Pennsylvania Hospital, the first hospital in the United States, at 8th and Pine Streets.

The Shippen House has been recently converted into 5 condominiums. They are available for sale, starting at $199,000 and going up to $399,000 for a 3 bedroom, 2 bath, bi-level unit. If you would like more information, feel free to contact me via WordPress, or www.carlkabat.com
