Rhythm on the River

Rhythm on the River in Longmont Coloradois a fun event for people of all ages! July 13 & 14. The two day event is hosted by the City of Longmont and Eco-Cycle as well as other corporate Sponsors. Not only a place to gather for good food, music and family activities, it is a GREEN event - the main goal being "no waste".

The event is held at Roger's Grove (Hover St. & Boston Ave.)
July 13th from 5:00 - 9:00 p.m.
July 14th from  6:30 am - 8:30 p.m.

FREE parking across the street at the Boulder County Fairgrounds. Air conditioned shuttle busses run all day to take festival visitors from the farigrounds to the festival.

There are many wonderful activities and sites to see at the festival:

Hot Air balloon Launch 6:30 a.m.

Roger's River Run 5K 7:30 a.m. (benefits Rhythm on the River)

Prairie Breakfast (pancake breakfast) 7:00 a.m. to 10 a.m.

Cooling Stations 10:00 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. (misters and fans located throughout grounds)

St. Vrain Rotary Duck Races  - Corporate Race: 2:45 p.m., -Individual Race: 3:00 p.m.
(support local charities by purchasing a duck for $5 to race down the river. If you duck wins - you wina cruise!)

World Market - 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. (unique gifts and crafts from all over the world)

Relaxation Station - 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. (chair massage, acupressure and other healing arts)

Studio Tour  8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. (artists will show and sell work at the fair)

Kids' Day Out - 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. (jumping castles, giant slide, obstacle course, swings, maze)
 
Outdoor Adventure Land - 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. (pool kayaking, climbing wall, bike obstacle course)

Fortune Teller's Tent -8:00 a.m. to 3 p.m.(hosted by Longmont Public Library and Longmont Fire Dept.)

Kiddie Corral (for small children to have fun - parent supervision please)
Friday, 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
Saturday, 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

Children's Fishing Tank - 8:00 a.m. to noon (catch & release trout tank)

Planet of the Arts - 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. (create craft projects using recycled items!)

Safety Street - 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.(hosted by Longmont Police Dept.)

Non-Profit Row - 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. (ways to help your community through non-profit organizations)

City Street- 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.(hosted by city services of Longmont)

Focus on the Environment - 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. (lean about Longmont's GREEN programs!)
