Kathy, That is an incredibly eerie photo--I love it but I'd be sure to stay out of those woods!

Wow, that is one busy spider.  I cant imagine walking through woods like that and walking into a web that big.... I would be itchy for days!

Where was that?

Caren- the light just happened to be right for this one.

Carole- I know what you mean. I don't like walking through spider webs; fortunately, i was able to stay on the boardwalk to get this shot.

I like to use that phrase too but I don't want to run into that web weaver ~ Merry Christmas.

Jim- I just viewed Michael Thornton's post and was wondering what that same spider web would have looked like with a Macro Lens.  Thanks for stopping by.

Teral-Can you imagine getting caught up in it? ick!  Merry Christmas to you too.

Wow Kathy, you've got some busy spiders there!  Nice photo.  We've found some shrubbery near us with lot's of webs but found it very difficult for the camera to capture such an image as yours.  John

Hi John- Depending upon the light and time of day, the spider webs could go unnoticed.  They're fascinating aren't they?

Kathy, It appears that a giant spider has cast a web, rather than spun one...a true work of art...kudos to the spider in charge!

Kathy, I would take out everything if I owned it, I hate spiders!  It does make for a great photo!

Lou- thanks and good seeing you Tuesday.

Sharon-  "freakishly" is a good word for that web!

Jane-I'd like to think of several smaller spiders as opposed to a big one to make that web!

Tony & Darcy- I'm not too proud to say I was on a nature boardwalk several feet away from the web.  I don't do spiders!

Kathy-- this is amazing that you caught this!  That spider is really serious about getting his supper!  Hmmm... wondering if there's a marketing lesson in there... LOL!

Steve-Wasn't that a movie?? I couldn't watch it.

Michele- Twas a lucky photo.  There might be a marketing lesson in there, but my mind is too clogged with holiday cookies, shopping and wrapping.  Have to clear the spiderwebs in my mind! LOL

Nick- Yeh, well I'm not getting close enough for that one!!!!
