Montana's State and local governments would be forbidden from imposing a real estate tax on Montana real estate sales and transfers according to a pending 2010 Montana constitutional initiative ballot measure that was submitted in Helena, Montana, Tuesday, December 16, 2009 by the Montana Association of Realtors (MAR).
