Keith, thanks for posting this, I saw these updates, and at first blush they look promising.

I've got to ask, though - where the heck did Top Producer come up with "Ready to Transact"???!

I don't know ANY, and I mean ANY agent who EVER uses that term!

Seriously, Top Producer should talk to a few agents doing business before they just come out with stuff like this.

And they should let US agents decide what pick-lists to choose from for status of a lead.

i.e. I have been helping agents for YEARS by having them tag buyers as Buyer A (hottest), Buyer B (maybe 3-6 mos. out), and Buyer C (6-12 mos. out).

Ditto for Sellers.

This helps agents figure out how often and who they should call, send email broadcasts to, etc.

I would think that if Top Producer just SAT DOWN for like 2 hours with a group of 5 agents, that could see how we are using Top Producer now, and incorporate these things into a release.

That's why I created Top Producer Experts training - for agents to find out how to profitable use Top Producer 7i or Top Producer 8i.

Any reply would be appreciated.

Good Info, as a top producer I work about 20 hours a day:( but I am not sure if I can even get any of my staff to use a new software or tool at this point. Any ideas?

Keith- I love Top Producer 8i and was a beta tester for it when it was first rolled out.  I also was one of the first to use Market Snapshot in may area and love it. 

I'm a little dismayed that, according to the tech and sales staff at TP, there does not seem to be any development in the pipeline for a mobile app for either Android or iPhone.  Given the recent sweep in technology and mobile computing I'm surprised at this stance.  Perhaps you could tell the good folks at Top Producer that us former Palm OS users need an Android app?  Thanks again and I look forward to your postings.

They're not the fastest, but TP has come a long way with the latest updates.  Most importantly, listing sold information around an address.   Consumers just want more and more and more information.  I only hope that as Realtors we will remain the keepers of the info and the information won't be pimped out and back to us as leads.

Wow, 6 replies with specific product questions and not one single answer? This does NOT build product confidence in my mind. I'm researching TP and looking for specifics on how things work and why this is or is not the best product to use, and this is what I find? A complete lack of attention to current users of TP. Very disappointing.

I believe it is in TP's corporate DNA. I have tested TP three times in the last 8 years, each time hoping that they will deliver on the hype. I'm not thrilled yet.
