Carol, It looks like some polish....and some love would revive this one! I love the photo and hope it hasn't been forgotten; maybe it's just waiting for it's new owner to restore it :)

Green-o-lina: Thank you!
Rebecca: Thanks! I felt sad when I saw this. Such a waste.
Tony & Darcy: I does look like it would be a fabulous restoration project for someone. Just imagine how beautiful it could be ...
John: Thank you!
Tim: Thank you!
Karen Anne: Is that your new ride so you can come visit NC? :)
Rich: I'm afraid it will probably return to the dust before someone would tackle the challenge of bringing it back to life.
Michael: Thanks!
Carole: Lots of polish, my friend! :) One could only hope that someone would take this lovely old truck home and bring it back to life.

I have a few guys at my house that would go crazy over restoring that nice old truck. To bad to see it just rot..

What a shame! We have the Daytona Turkey Rod Run here every year. I see all the old, restored cars driving around all over town. They're beautiful when their old glory is restored.

Hey Carol, maybe not forgotten, but just a diamond in the rough. By the way, if you've seen the movie "Cars" then the following line will make some sense..."Tow-Mater!!!" Happy New Year!!

Thank you all for your kind comments and compliments! This old truck was on the grounds of an abandoned furniture factory down in Asheboro, NC. If memory serves me right it was the old P&P Chair Co. It was just left up against one of the buildings, half covered with weeds and vines. Too bad someone just left it there. I have visions of it being a beautifully restored bit of nostalgia.
