Why wouldn’t you choose

San Pedro California

For your next home?

Have you ever listened to a friend, co-worker, or family member about a subject and just believed what they said without really checking into it yourself?  I mean it must be true if they told you right?  Sometimes I think that people’s perception on San Pedro is a little off.  When working in Long Beach I would ask my clients what areas they would consider purchasing in.  They would give me the run down of communities like;

Long Beach

Signal Hill

Lakewood

Torrance

Seal Beach

Lomita

But 9 times out of 10 no one said San Pedro.  Loving this town as I do, I would ask them “What about San Pedro?”  Then I got varying replies about distance from work and then there were comments about crime rates, that the town doesn’t have much to offer…

It was a little shocking to hear!  When I first came to San Pedro I only saw the harbor.  It was my first trip and I didn’t realize it was a peninsula.  I didn’t know about how so many of the homes and condos in San Pedro have either Ocean or Harbor views.  I didn’t know about the multitude of parks with majestic views!

Do you know about these parts of San Pedro?

Friendship Park

Cabrillo Marine Aquarium

The Koren Friendship Bell

Averill Park

Civil War Museum

Fisherman's Wharf

Los Angeles Maritime Museum

Point Fermin Lighthouse

South Coast Botanic Garden

PORT'S O CALL VILLAGE

Royal Palms State Beach/White Point

And this is just scratching the surface of what our town has to offer!  There are fantastic restaurants, shopping, the historic down town district and so much more!  San Pedro California is a wonderful place that if you bought a home here, you’d be proud to call home!
