My monthly neighborhood newsletter has always been, why have I slacked off?  Because someone told me that mailings are in the past!  Why did I listen?  Sometimes, what works for one agent may not work for another agent!  My newsletter will now be a monthly publication again.  Advertising in the local paper and other print publications is very costly and produces nothing for me...NO MORE!  I have held several open houses in the past, and not one has been successful, no matter how much I promote and advertise.  I will definitely need to rethink Open Houses.  While Open Houses may work in some areas, Maybe they just aren't the thing in our area?

  We "shifted" to Keller in July....we call it our own personal "Independence Day"...whether you call it  SHIFT or Snooze Ya Lose....".....just do it....or be left behind in the "former" realtor line.

Amy,  This book is one of the best things to come around for our industry in a long time.  I'm glad you are reading it and I plan to reread it because every page has things that WILL make a difference in our business.
