Snow Snow Snow | Here It Comes | NJ Is Next

Real Estate Agent with Keller Williams Valley Realty

Hi everybody
snow plow

Snow Snow Snow... It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas around here but not quite yet.

snowfall map

Looks like we'll be getting some new snowfall starting in about a few hours from now. As you can see by the radar below, it's just about upon us.

snow radar

Now to go out and make sure my shovels are findable and get the salt ready as well as getting the cars inside so I don't have to clean those off as well...... Fun stuff..... As pretty as it is while it's falling I'm not looking forward to the shoveling tomorrow...

By tonight it could look like this...

Seeing what some of my friends here on Active Rain are experiencing just to the  south of me, I guess I'm in store for it.

But hey, maybe just maybe it'll go out to sea and not dump as much on me.... I guess we'll see....

It gets me into the spirit of the holidays though and I will enjoy it until I have to go move it...

In the meantime, stay safe and keep warm everybody.... Wintertime has not officially begun on the calendar but just around the corner.

Judging from our weather it's here.

Happy Holidays

Bob, my friends in New Jersey tell me the whole state shuts down when it snows a little down there, up here if we are expecting less than two feet they don't cancel school...and if it really snows we go to the local bar on our snowmobile.

Steve - Now that sounds like a plan... and Yes NJ has issues with snow for sure... Doesn't usually stop me but if the roads are slippery I'm more afraid of the other drivers.... if you know what I mean..

Robert -I live on the west coast and just watched the nightly news.  Looks like you guys are getting hit pretty hard.  Hope you stocked up on supplies and make the best of the bad situation.  Give the market in 2009 - we should all be pros and doing that.

Stay warm and safe.

Bob,

I thought of you yesterday when I saw the track of the storm.  Erie only got an inch from this storm, but I think we had our share of snow with last year's total of 145 inches.  Like Steve we don't close schools for a few inches.

Have fun shoveling as it's good exercise if not over done AND stay warm and safe the rest of the time.  I will check back again.

Bob

Rachelle - thanks for stopping by. Just got up this morning and found about a foot of snow out there.... Not to bad it's light and fluffy kind so shoveling wont be so bad.. It's off I go...

Mary
- thanks. Yep we got it this time but not as bad as people south and east of us... They got more than a foot so I am thankful for that... So now it's off to shovel.. I'll be back....
